A library card is one of the most important school supplies you can pick up with your child–free of charge, and in 5 minutes or less! Anyone who lives in Towanda, as well as its surrounding subdivisions/townships, is able to get a Towanda District Library card. If you are 18 or over, simply bring a photo ID and proof of address (bill, piece of mail, state ID, checkbook, etc.) to the library. If you are under 18, you will need to bring a parent or legal guardian to sign up for a library card. (Residents under the age of 18 do not need to show a photo ID or proof of address, but the accompanying parent/legal guardian does.) Normal Public Library cardholders are also able to check out books from Towanda District Library, as well as Bloomington Public Library cardholders who have activated their cards at NPL. We look forward to being one of your “go-to school supplies” throughout 2019-2020!
